Ingredients
- 4 pieces of beef liver
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced into rings
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
Instructions
- Rinse the beef liver thoroughly and pat it dry.
- Season both sides of the liver with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper.
- Coat both sides of the liver with flour.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the liver on both sides until browned, then set aside to keep warm.
- Add the sliced onions to the skillet, reduce the heat to medium, and sauté until they soften.
- Pour in the beef broth and return the liver to the skillet.
- Bring to a low boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 15 minutes before serving.
